Conference „Sustainable Management of Lake Areas”

We would like to invite you to participate in the Project „Lakes for Future“ FINAL CONFERENCE „Sustainable Management of Lake Areas” on 20-21st March, 2014, in Žemaitija National Park, hotel „Linelis” (http://www.linelis.lt) (Paplatelė country, Plungė district) organized by the Directorate of Žemaitija National Park.

Conference is ornganized within project No LLIV-326 „Cross Border Cooperation for Sustainable Management of Lake Areas in Kurzeme and Lithuania/Lakes for Future”  co-financed by Latvia-Lithuania cross border cooperation programme 2007-2013.

The conference is focused on getting practical experience and knowledge on how to implement successful lake management to preserve lakes and treat them as national value. Project partners and invited guests, lecturers will present current situation, state support, lake management experience. What has been done to improve the situation?

The conference working language – English.

Practical information:
The conference, including meals and excursion is free of charge.
Conference place and accommodation will be in hotel „Linelis” www.linelis.lt
Participants are to pay accommodation and travel themselves.
Booking for accommodation will be made by organizators according filled registration forms. (In case there is a need for advance payment invoice, please contact conference organizator E.Lydiene, see contact information below.)
Single room – 100 Lt;
Double room – 120 Lt (60 Lt per person).
Breakfast is not included in accommodation price. Breakfast for one person – 15 Lt.
