The granary of Kazys Striaupa

Barn of Kazys Striaupa. Woodcarver Kazys Striaupa was born in Kubakiai village. Currently he lives and works in Dovainiai village. K. Striaupa is making sculptures of saints, scenes of Christ’s life and death, masks of Užgavėnės feast, images from the village life, etc. In the village of Dovainiai, in the building (barn) of a folk artist covered with thatch, one can get acquainted with his carvings.
